I used this product on my client last week and he barely felt any of the linework on his chest! Great product and fantastic customer service :)
I will definitely be using this for all of my piercings from now on. I've had a few piercings before but always found them painful - This makes it so much easier!

Numbing cream for lip fillers works by blocking pain signals in the area it has been applied to from reaching the brain. As anyone who has used this cream before will tell you, it is highly effective. The area will be numbed for up to 2 hours, gradually becoming less effective after that as it begins to wear off.
Make sure you know before the procedure exactly where you’ll need to apply the topical numbing cream on your skin. As soon as you’ve applied the numbing cream for injections, it will start to be gradually absorbed into the skin. Once absorbed, the numbing effect will kick in. It is most effective between 1-2 hours after application so if you’ve got an upcoming appointment, you’ll want to apply it roughly an hour and a half before.
IIn order to ensure maximum numbing, please DON’T DRINK ANY FORM OF ALCOHOL within 24 hours of your filler injections, or the numbing may not be as effective or long lasting.
Please spot test the day prior to use on a small area of skin for 10-20 mins to ensure that your skin doesn’t become inflamed, especially if you know that you can sometimes be sensitive to creams. Keep in mind that some minor localised redness is normal.
Steps for use:
Wash the area thoroughly with soap, water and exfoliator to remove dirt and dead skin. This will help the cream to penetrate. Dry off the area completely.
Apply a thick amount of numbing cream (2mm thick) to the area and rub in thoroughly.
Cover with cling film. The heat under the plastic wrap helps activate the cream and keeps the cream from drying out.
Leave cream and wrap in place for 90 minutes before the procedure.
After 90 minutes, remove the cling film and wipe the cream away with a paper towel and you’re ready for your pain free lip filler treatment!
Numbing cream has a wide range of uses as well as injections. Most commonly, it is used to reduce unbearable pain during medical and cosmetic skin procedures. These include: Tattooing, Laser Hair Removal, Waxing, Blood tests, Vaccinations, Dermal Fillers, Permanent Makeup, Piercings and other cosmetic skin treatments. It can be used to numb any area of the body so the potential possibilities for it are endless!
Numbing cream is suitable to be used by all ages. So while adults may use numbing cream for lip fillers, it is also a great way to help your child face needles with confidence. From blood tests to jabs for a foreign holiday, needles are an inevitable part of your child’s life. Not forgetting the many immunisations they’ll need for school, including HPV vaccination at 12-13 years of age. With numbing cream, their stresses and fears around needles can be greatly reduced. Numbing cream for lip fillers remains effective for around 2 hours after application. After this, it will gradually become less effective and sensitivity will start to return to the area around your lips. Keep in mind that it should be applied at least an hour before your treatment for it to have maximum effect during the procedure. This means that timing is crucial when it comes to applying numbing cream for lip fillers. You don’t want to apply it too late, but also not too early so that it begins to wear off.
To ensure it doesn't wear off too early, you may want to apply it when you get to the clinic in case the appointment before runs over, or any other unexpected delays occur.
Similar to applying any new substance to your skin, numbing cream for lip fillers can cause some minor side effects, although not everyone will experience them. A mild reaction (paleness or redness of the skin, slight puffiness, initial burning or itching) may temporarily occur in the area where the cream is used. This is common and should disappear in a short while. If you experience any troublesome or unusual side effects, stop using it and check with your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible.
If you know that you are prone to having sensitive skin, please test just a small amount first, at least a day before your treatment.
